On Friday, July 6th, summer residents at the St. George Residence enjoyed a delicious trip to the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.

Opened in 2001, The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory is located in a historic 1920s boathouse sitting between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO. People have claimed the shop has the best ice cream in NYC and on that evening, residents could decide for themselves if this was true!

RA Katie said, “The residents loved the ice cream. We all had a tough time picking out which flavor to get! I liked the Butter Pecan best!”

After choosing their tasty desserts, the residents strolled over to the DUMBO waterfront park and took in an amazing view of lower Manhattan while getting to know one another.

The evening was a SWEET success!
