EHS Block Party
It's our end of year party to celebrate another great year at the St. George Residence.

The St. George Studio Residence connects to the St. George Clark and Weller towers via an expansive lobby and student community center. Located in the heart of scenic Brooklyn Heights, this building is on the site of the former St. George Hotel—-a hotspot that drew celebrities, athletes, and presidential candidates. Just one subway stop from lower Manhattan and mere minutes from Wall Street, this location offers exceptional access to the city while maintaining a great small-town feel.
All students and interns residing at the St. George Studio have access to a cutting-edge, 8,300-square foot student community center located on the building’s main floor. Here you can make dinner with friends in our bistro kitchen, hold a study group in the library, watch a movie in the screening room, or play pool while catching a game on a flat screen TV. Furthermore, residents are eligible for a complimentary membership to the Eastern Athletic Club, located next door.
As with all of our residences, your room at the St. George Studio comes fully furnished with designer beds, desks, and wardrobes/dressers that maximize living space. Plus free Wi-Fi access, TV with cable, refrigerator/microwave, and local phone service in every room means from day one you’ll never miss a beat.
Whether you prefer a single, double, or triple room, your comfort is our priority. Every room has a private bathroom, and downstairs you will have 24-hour access to computers in the lobby and an on-site laundry room.
Brooklyn Heights has been a historically preserved district for over 40 years. It boasts safe, tree-lined streets, classic brownstones, and picturesque mansions. Steps from the St. George Studio, is the popular Brooklyn Promenade—a half-mile-long stretch on the waterfront with breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan skyline and the majestic Brooklyn Bridge. Lined with flower-beds, trees, benches and playgrounds, it is a perfect place to walk, bike, skate, or jog.
The neighborhood is also full great places to eat, friendly coffee shops, several groceries stores, banks, dry cleaners, and pharmacies. And nearby Montague and Fulton Streets are basically outdoor malls.
The 2/3 train’s Clark Station is literally right at the doorstep of the St. George Studio residence, and there are over six additional subway lines within a short walking distance. From here you can get anywhere you need to go, and fast.
A single-person living space furnished with a captain’s bed with drawers or bed with a dresser, desk, desk chair and wardrobe or closet. A private bathroom, refrigerator, and television are also provided within the room (except Marymount).

Within walking distance you’ll also find a large post office, several banks, grocery stores, Smith Street’s “restaurant row”, DUMBO’s galleries, and great shopping on Montague Street, Atlantic Avenue, and at the Fulton Street Mall.
