    Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, located in Troy, NY, is the nation’s oldest technological university.

Yet The Rensselaer Plan, conceived by President Shirley Ann Jackson, includes plenty of new research platforms such as the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies, the Computational Center for Nanotechnology Innovations (CCNI), and the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC).

We had a terrific time visiting with the staff and students on campus. We had 6 RPI students stay with EHS last year and already have 4 booked for this summer!

    Vassar College

To say Vassar College is a beautiful campus is an understatement! Our breath was taken away when we visited there this spring, and the staff and students we met while visiting were nothing short of wonderful as well.

When Vassar first opened its doors in 1865, everything was located here in Main Building—living quarters for students, faculty, and administrators, the dining hall, the library, the art museum, classrooms, and offices.

Now this picturesque campus houses over 100 academic and residential buildings ranging in style from collegiate Gothic to Modernist.

We met many friendly folks as we walked around campus as well. We have had over 30 Vassar students stay with us in the last few years and hope to see more this summer! Thanks again to all who made our trip a memorable one.

    Quinnipiac University

Man oh man, were we lucky to visit yet another stunning, sprawling campus when we made a stop at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Ct. The school is surrounded by great beauty also as it is located at the foot of Sleeping Giant State Park.

We had a great time chatting with the friendly and smart staff, and learning about all of the resources they provide for their students.

We took some pictures so you could see for yourself that Quinnipiac students sure are lucky to have a beautiful campus to call their own!…

Students looking for something to do on a rainy day at Quinnipiac can sign out one of the many DVD’s available within the School of Communications:
