Christy Chatfield
SVP, Student LifeChristy Chatfield
SVP, Student LifeMs. Christy Chatfield is the Senior Vice President of Student Life and has been with EHS since 2004 when she joined to organize the Student Life department. She provides leadership and vision in the design and the administering of a comprehensive range of programs and services related to campus programming and planning. She assists in creating a culture that promotes academic achievement, oversees security and crisis response, advocates on behalf of the students, and fosters collaborative relationships amongst students, staff, and clients. Previously Ms. Chatfield served as the Dean of Students at Marymount Manhattan College, after having served as the Director of Residence Life. Ms. Chatfield is a graduate of New York University with a Master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education and Widener University with Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Social Work.

Yolanda Cruz
Associate VP for Student LifeYolanda Cruz
Associate VP for Student LifeYolanda Cruz is in charge of all buildings and around 5,000+ residents. Yolanda is a native of Houston Texas, she received a BS in Psychology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and she has been with Educational Housing Services since May of 2006. Previously, she was the Residence Director at the St. George/Clark residences for two years, and the Residence Director at the 1760 Third Avenue Residence. Yolanda also does a lot of 'behind the scenes' work that is vital to EHS. Before joining EHS Yolanda was a Residence Director at Marymount Manhattan College, as well as a Residence Manager at Boston University.

Fred Neglia
Director of Public SafetyFred Neglia
Director of Public SafetyFredrick Neglia is EHS' Director of Public Safety with more than thirty years of Life Safety and Law Enforcement experience, which included over twenty years with the New York City Police Department as a Patrol Officer/Homicide Detective Investigator and more than ten years at Nassau Community College. While there, he rose to the rank of Assistant Chief/Director of Public Safety. Fred has been the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Nassau Community College Leadership Award (2011), United States Congressional Award (2001), Nassau County Executive Award (2001), U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency-Excellent Service Award (1996), as well as numerous NYPD awards. Fred holds degrees from SUNY-Empire State College and the New York City Police Academy. His goal is to provide a safe, secure and worry free environment for both the EHS residents and their guests. In his spare time he enjoys volunteering, and is an active supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Autism Speaks.
