Educational Housing Services honored for its “Outstanding Designs” by American School & University Magazine

Spotlights EHS’s St. George Residence in Brooklyn Heights, NY

New York, NY (October 15, 2012) --- Educational Housing Services (EHS) Inc., New York City’s largest provider of safe and convenient housing for college students and interns, has been praised for its “Outstanding Designs” by the prestigious American School and University Magazine. EHS is one of only two organizations honored in the “Residence Halls/Lounges” category, which also features Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The article spotlights the vibrant Student Commons area in EHS’s St. George Residence, located in Brooklyn Heights, NY. The 8,500-square-foot-space was designed by Wid Chapman Architects and includes a kitchen, grand lobby, study lounges and a movie screening room. Praised by the magazine for its “series of engaging and dynamic environments” thanks to its unique high graphic and color contrasts, the design also reflects EHS’s commitment to being green by using sustainable materials such as Bamboo wood flooring and an energy-saving lighting system.

Educational Housing Services Inc. is a not for profit organization that has provided safe and convenient off campus housing in New York City for college students and interns since 1987.The organization works with academic institutions and corporations to provide housing to their students and interns and also leases to individual students. EHS operates six student residences in Manhattan and Brooklyn, each of which offer fully-furnished and amenity-rich accommodations that include 24-hour security, live-in residential staff, laundry rooms, fitness facilities and an active student life program. 4. Provide Guarantor Information

A guarantor is a person over the age of 21, usually a parent, who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing agreement. If you can't get a parent to be a guarantor, the next best bet would be a relative or friend.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure the integrity of your reservation, all cancellation requests MUST be received by EHS through DocuSign or sent via certified or registered mail (to 55 Clark Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Attention: Director of Leasing). Your request MUST be processed by DocuSign by 11:59 pm New York City Time, or postmarked on or before the cancellation deadlines set forth above. Cancellation requests processed or postmarked after the deadline or sent via a different method will result in NO REFUND of monies paid.

If there is a guarantor (required for 9 and 12 month reservations), the guarantor will be responsible to guarantee payment pursuant to the License Agreement and the Guaranty.

The client also understands that the Membership Fee is NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.

All refunds are processed via check within 8-10 weeks and mailed to the client.
